Starting a new health journey can feel challenging, but you don’t have to do it alone. Here are some tips from our coaches:

Set a goal to change your environment, not just your habits.

Motivation is important, but your surroundings play a key role in shaping your behaviour. For example, if your goal is to exercise more, instead of just committing to work out, create an environment that supports it. Lay out your workout clothes the night before or keep fitness equipment in a visible spot. By aligning your environment with your goal, success comes more naturally.

Build habits, not restrictions!

A common challenge many face is the belief that healthy eating means strict rules and cutting out favourite foods. From my experience with clients, shifting the focus to balance—listening to your body’s signals, adding nourishing foods, and enjoying treats without guilt—can make all the difference. Sustainable health is about creating habits that feel good and support you, not perfection.

One of my clients shared, “For the first time, I’m not punishing myself for what I eat. I’m making choices that feel good for my body, and it’s made all the difference.”
