AEON Credit Service, a leader in consumer credit finance, has made a pivotal move in prioritising employee mental health and wellbeing by introducing the AEON Credit Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) in collaboration with Naluri. This initiative is part of AEON Credit's broader mission to cultivate a healthier and more resilient workforce, serving as a crucial first step in promoting and supporting the mental health of its employees.
Programme Launch at AEON Credit’s Employee Mental Wellness Fair
The AEON Credit Employee Mental Wellness Fair, held on 21 November 2024 at its headquarters in Bangsar South in collaboration with Naluri, served as the launchpad for the new EAP. The event brought together AEON Credit employees from various departments for a half-day of mental health activities and programme onboarding.
Among the highlights of the event were mindfulness sessions led by Naluri Mental Health Coach Mohd Zarul Fikri. These 15-minute guided meditations provided employees with an opportunity to re-centre and recharge amidst their busy schedules.
Throughout the event, attendees also had the chance to participate in mental health assessments, a meet-and-greet session with our counsellors, and contribute to a Wellness Board by sharing words of affirmation or personal messages for colleagues and managers.
The event concluded on a high note, with participants deeply engaged in the activities and more informed about the resources now available to them through the EAP. Attendees expressed appreciation for the programme’s holistic approach and looked forward to accessing a service that addresses multiple health dimensions, including diet and fitness.
The AEON Credit EAP
The AEON Credit EAP, developed in collaboration with Naluri, is designed to address the multifaceted wellbeing needs of its employees. It offers unlimited access to the Naluri Digital Coaching platform, which supports all pillars of health and wellness – from mental and physical wellbeing to financial and occupational health. Employees can benefit from 24/7 carelines and textlines, curated monthly webinars, and on-the-go e-learning modules.
The programme also includes licensed therapy, consultations, and self-help resources such as health articles and meditation guides, ensuring every employee has the tools to thrive both personally and professionally. To foster long-term wellbeing, regular mental health screenings are conducted to continually assess and improve organisational health.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ian Ooi, HR Manager and Head of Employee Relations, and the entire AEON Credit team for proactively addressing the mental health needs of their workforce. Their commitment not only strengthens their organisational culture but also sets an inspiring example for other enterprises striving for a resilient, high-performing workforce.
